The notice type reported in SAM.gov contract opportunity data that GovTribe normalizes for a federal contract opportunity.

Notes

For federal grant opportunities, Posted and Forecasted describe whether the Grants.gov record is a posted synopsis or a forecast. These values are separate from federal contract notice types such as Solicitation or Award Notice.

Posted: For federal grant opportunities, the Grants.gov record is a posted synopsis.
Forecasted: For federal grant opportunities, the Grants.gov record is a forecast.
Solicitation: The notice is a solicitation, combined synopsis/solicitation, or related amendment.
Pre-Solicitation: The notice is an early presolicitation, sources sought, or similar pre-solicitation signal.
Limited / Sole Source Justification: The notice is a limited-sources, fair-opportunity, or sole-source justification.
Award Notice: The notice reports an award.
Special Notice: The notice is a special notice.
Sale of Surplus Property: The notice is for sale of surplus property.
Intent to Bundle Requirements (DoD-Funded): The notice reports an intent to bundle DoD-funded requirements.
Foreign Government Standard: The notice is tied to a foreign government standard.
Cancellation: The notice reports a cancellation.
