UNSPSC 21102100: Agricultural processing machinery and equipment

UNSPSC 21102100 Agricultural processing machinery and equipment is a Class code showing minimal relevant recent activity aligned with its stated scope. The recent opportunities tagged under this code span utility payment platforms, yard debris processing, law enforcement equipment, school food procurement, and ground maintenance services—none of which constitute agricultural processing machinery or equipment. The single exception is the Orange County agricultural spray drone procurement, which does align with the code's nominal scope: a fully specified DJI Agras T100 system with 100-liter spray tank, five intelligent flight batteries, RTK station, training, and software, procured through an IFB with a contract value not to exceed $55,679.26 and a one-year term.

The Orange County IFB, issued July 15, 2026 with a bid deadline of April 21, 2026, represents the only recent solicitation under this code that matches agricultural equipment procurement. Orange County applied a five percent preference deduction for Orange County Local Small Businesses and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises, with a $100,000 preference cap. The contract is available to other municipalities, counties, public utilities, hospitals, educational institutions, and nonprofits under the County's cooperative purchasing vehicle, with participating entities required to remit a two percent administrative rebate. The mismatch between the code's stated scope and the majority of recent opportunities—combined with the single aligned solicitation being a narrowly specified drone system for one county—signals that this code sees limited relevant state and local procurement activity at present.
