UNSPSC 21102102: Oil seed expeller

A machine that extracts oil or solution by exerting pressure on seeds of grain such as corn, sesame, bean, pepper and pumpkin or meat of fruits such as apricot, coconut and walnut.

UNSPSC 21102102 Oil seed expeller is a Commodity code. The recent state and local opportunities tagged under this code show no relevant procurement activity for oil seed expellers or oilseed processing equipment. The opportunities present instead cover law enforcement equipment (Sourcewell RFP #061626), school nutrition food supplies (Butts County School System IFB), ground maintenance equipment (City of South Fulton RFP 26_24), commercial real estate development (County of Ventura RFP AIR 2026-03), water infrastructure equipment (City of Arlington pipe bursting rig bid), yard debris processing services (City of Atlanta pre-solicitation notice), and dairy product storage tanks (University of Wisconsin-Madison RFB 2026-UWMSN-01223-RFB). None of these solicitations involve oilseed expellers, crushing machinery, or agricultural processing equipment in the oilseed category.

No current state and local procurement activity under this code supports pursuit at this time. The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the opportunities posted suggests either systematic miscoding of these solicitations or minimal recent demand for oilseed expeller equipment in state and local procurement channels.
