Prospective contractors must submit a bid bond or certified cashier's check for at least 10% of the base bid, with all bonds required to be from a Georgia-licensed surety company.
The procurement does not explicitly specify set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises. Bidders will be evaluated based on responsiveness, financial ability, and qualifications, with the county reserving the right to reject any or all bids. Successful bidders will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract price. While specific budget ranges are not detailed in the provided documentation, the comprehensive scope of the roundabout construction suggests a significant infrastructure investment. The project will require specialized civil engineering and construction capabilities, with a focus on transportation infrastructure development. No incumbent vendors or existing technological infrastructure integration requirements are mentioned in the procurement documents.
