About this opportunity

The Town of Beacon Falls, Connecticut is seeking electronic bid proposals for an on-call contract to provide comprehensive road infrastructure services, specifically milling, reclamation, paving, grading, curbing, and drainage services on multiple town-owned roads. This procurement is designated as Solicitation Number 24-3 and will be a three-year contract with the town intending to make a single award to one qualified vendor. Respondents must demonstrate substantial experience in providing these municipal infrastructure services and adhere to typical industry standards and requirements. The solicitation period runs from March 29, 2024, to April 24, 2024, with a specific vendor Q&A period scheduled from March 29 to April 10, 2024. All bid submissions must be electronically submitted through the Town of Beacon Falls' e-Procurement Bonfire portal, with strict instructions that CT Source is being used only for notice purposes. Vendors are required to create a Bonfire account to access the full Invitation to Bid (ITB) and project specifications, and all bid items are mandatory for submission.

The solicitation appears to be open to all vendors without specific set-aside designations or restrictions on organizational types. There is no mention of incumbent vendors or existing infrastructure requirements that would necessitate specific integration considerations. The procurement allows for unlimited subcontractors, providing flexibility for vendors in assembling their project teams. While the total estimated contract value is not specified in the documents, the three-year on-call contract suggests a potentially significant municipal infrastructure investment. Delivery terms are specified as Free On Board Destination, with payment terms to be vendor-specified, indicating some negotiation flexibility. The Town of Beacon Falls will evaluate proposals based on demonstrated experience, ability to meet service standards, and compliance with the full ITB specifications. Interested vendors must carefully review all project documentation and be prepared to provide comprehensive road infrastructure services across multiple town-owned roadways.
