About this opportunity

The State of Illinois Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) is procuring emergency directory assistance and informational services from the current vendor, Terabyte Holdings LLC dba Consolidated Call Center Services, to prevent disruption in critical state services. The original contract was established through a competitive bid process, and Terabyte Holdings has previously demonstrated the ability to successfully provide these services. DoIT is requesting a 90-day emergency extension from November 28, 2022 to February 25, 2023 at an estimated cost of $140,000, which will allow time for DoIT to complete the competitive bid process and award a new long-term contract. The services include payphone and directory assistance services across state facilities including prisons and mental health centers.

The emergency extension is being issued due to the impending expiration of the original contract on November 27, 2022. Terabyte Holdings was originally selected through a competitive bid process, and DoIT has successfully negotiated contracts with this vendor in the past. There are no other valid competitive processes that can be utilized during the time of this extension request, therefore DoIT is requesting that the current vendor remains in place until a new contract under the upcoming Invitation for Bid (IFB) is established. The services are being funded through state appropriated funds, and no federal or grant funds are involved.
