About this opportunity
This solicitation from the Naval Sea Systems Command seeks proposals for the execution of maintenance, modernization, and repair services for the USS Tripoli (LHA 7) Fiscal Year 2023 Selected Restricted Availability. Offerors must have extensive facilities and experienced personnel capable of completing, coordinating, and integrating multiple areas of ship maintenance and modernization over approximately 12 months from March 2023 through March 2024. Proposals will be evaluated based on past performance, production schedule, and technical approach and will be due by August 19, 2022. A single award is anticipated by December 2022.
The availability is solicited on a coast-wide basis for West Coast contractors under Solicitation N00024-22-R-4403. The requirement is not set aside for small businesses based on market research determining no two or more small businesses can fulfill the complex and lengthy maintenance period. The NAICS code is 336611 and PSC code is J019. The approximate value is unknown but covers 12 months of maintenance, modernization, and repair for an amphibious assault ship. The place of performance will be at the contractor's facility in California, Oregon, or Washington.
