About this opportunity
This solicitation seeks two-phase design-build construction services to upgrade three boilers and complete seismic retrofitting at Building 1286 on Hill Air Force Base in Utah. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District will replace the existing boilers with new dual-fuel boilers capable of achieving ultra-low NOx emissions of 9 parts per million. Offerors must propose to design and construct the upgrades, including replacing underground fuel oil storage tanks with aboveground tanks sized for seven days of peak storage, by the response deadline of August 1, 2022. Price and technical factors will be considered in selecting the best value proposal for award anticipated in September 2022.
The requirement is set aside for total small business concerns. The NAICS code is 237110 with a PSC code of W912. The estimated value ranges from $10-25 million for construction to be completed within 910 calendar days at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.
