The Air Force Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy for the follow-on to its Operation, Maintenance, Information Management, and Support operating contract. The new Test Operations and Support procurement is for work similar to that described in Attachment 1, the Performance Work Statement (PWS) from the existing operating contract, F40600-03-C-0001. Services are to be performed at the Complex's main location in Tullahoma, TN and at two Geographically Separated Units (GSUs) in White Oak, MD and Mountain View, CA. The current Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) contract was awarded under full and open competition for all work described in Attachment 1. However, AEDC is assessing all possible strategy options and contract types for the Test Operations and Support acquisition, including single awards, multiple awards, and small business set asides. The Complex anticipates possible contract periods to range from one basic year plus five to seven option years to X basic years plus X options years. If multiple contracts are awarded, various contract durations are possible. Contract award(s) are targeted for June 2015 for an October 2015 start.
NOTICE: A competition library has been established on the AEDC homepage to provide additional materials related to the Test Operations and Support (TOS) acquisition: www.arnold.af.mil/toslibrary. As additional information becomes available, it will be posted to the library; therefore, please monitor for those updates.
Formal notices will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website.
