About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command is seeking a contractor to maintain and inspect radio towers at five Missile Alert Facilities (MAFs) and Building 3650 located across Colorado, Nebraska, and Wyoming under F.E. Warren Air Force Base control. The comprehensive maintenance work includes replacing aircraft warning lights, inspecting electrical systems and tower structures, painting, tightening fasteners, sealing foundation cracks, and conducting annual tower inspections with detailed reporting. Contractors must meet strict cybersecurity requirements including NIST SP 800-171 compliance with a minimum assessment score of 110, ability to handle Controlled Unclassified Nuclear Information (CUI), and submission of a Mission Essential Contractor Service Plan. The evaluation will be conducted using lowest-priced technically acceptable criteria, weighing both price and technical factors equally. Proposals are due by 11:00 AM MST on September 17, 2025, with electronic submission only to specified Air Force contracting personnel, and offers must remain valid for 60 calendar days.

This opportunity is set aside for Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) with a total estimated contract value of $34,000,000 as a firm-fixed-price commercial service contract. No current incumbent contractor is identified in the solicitation materials. The contract has a 90-calendar day performance period from award, with work conducted between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM, excluding weekends and federal holidays. The work locations span multiple secure facilities including five MAFs and Building 3650, with radio towers ranging from 168 to 209 feet in height across the three-state area. Importantly, the government has noted that funds are not currently available, and the contract award is contingent upon future appropriated funding availability, with contractors required to acknowledge this funding uncertainty in their proposals.
