Similarly, Amendment 2 posted to FBO on May 19, 2017 is labeled as Amendment 0001 in the file name and the first page of the SF30. The Government acknowledges an error in the posting of Amendment 0001 leading to subsequent errors in Amendment 0002 - 0007. Added: Jun 26, 2017 4:55 pm The purpose of this modification to the solicitation is to inform interested vendors of the Government's intent to post Amendment 0007 to incorporate a revision to FAR Addendum 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors to include a formulated price spreadsheet. Amendment 0007 is the result of the multitude of questions received on or before 19 June 2017. The submitted questions are currently under Government technical review; posting of responses are anticipated on or about 27 June 2017. The purpose of this modification to the solicitation notice is to inform interested vendors of the reactivation of the solicitation. The solicitation is no longer suspended and Amendment 0002 is posted. As a result of Amendment 0002, the Health Readiness Contracting Office (HRCO) now intends to procure non-personal, enterprise-wide (off-site) remote medical coding services in support of the 32 Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) located in four Regional Health Commands (RHCs): Atlantic, Central, Pacific, and Europe. The Government will issue one solicitation but intends to award four separate IDIQ SATOCs: one contract for each region. The offerors may bid on more than one region; therefore, an offeror may receive more than one contract. The proposal due date is extended to 10 July 2017. This solicitation remains under FAR Subpart 15.101-2, Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedures. The NAICS code is 541219 and is solicited as 100% Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside.

The Enterprise Remote Medical Coding Services solicitation remains under review for a possible scope increase; however, the 100% WOSB set-aside remains unchanged. It is anticipated that an amendment to the solicitation with a revised proposal due date will be posted on FBO within the next two weeks.

medical coding services and related medical records functions in support of the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Patient Administration and Biostatistics Activity (PABSA) at 18 Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) located in three (3) Regional Health Commands (RHCs): Central, Pacific, and Europe. The Government will issue one solicitation but intends to award three separate contracts; one contract for each region. The offerors may bid on more than one region; therefore, an offeror may receive more than one contract. This is a new requirement to provide remote medical coding services for MEDCOM PABSA and will be solicited as competitive, 100% Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside.
The Government will issue one solicitation but intends to award three separate Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Single Award Task Order Contracts (SATOCs), one for each region. Each SATOC will have a five-year ordering period. Individual task orders will clearly describe MTF-specific remote medical coding services to be performed. This solicitation will be awarded under FAR Subpart 15.101-2, Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedures.
The solicitation and subsequent contracts will include contract line items (CLINS) with 5-year ordering periods. The anticipated IDIQ contracts will obligate the government to the minimum guarantee of $1,500.00 for post-award conference. All elements of the RFP shall be submitted by the Offeror with a proposal no later than the date/time shown in block 8 of the Standard Form (SF) 1449, Solicitation/Contract Order for Commercial Items.
An amendment to the solicitation is included with this announcement to correct the issue date of the solicitation. In addition, a set of Questions and Answers will also be attached to this announcement.

The purpose of this modification to the presolicitation notice is to inform interested vendors of the Questions and Answers dated 041717 posted to FBO. Also, a pre-proposal conference will be held on Wednesday, 3 May 2017, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm at the U.S. Army Medical Department Museum (or AMEDD Museum), Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX 3898 Stanley Road, San Antonio, TX 78234. The AMEDD Museum does not open until 10:00 am; as such, please plan accordingly for arrival to conference.
For registration purposes and access to JBSA installation, vendors must register no later than 12:00 CST, Thursday, 20 April 2017, by emaiiling kathleen.d.henderson2.civ@mail.mil and yvonne.y.camarce@mail.mil with the following information: Name(s) of attendees, company name, email address, phone number, and business size standard. Vendors are limited to two people per company. Be sure to state W81K04-17-R-0001, Preproposal Conference in the subject line. Please indicate any special needs when requesting registration to ensure proper accommodations may be arranged. Prospective offers are advised the pre-proposal conference will be held solely for the purpose of discussing the requirements of the solicitation. The final solicitationn is anticipated for release prior to preproposal conference; however, in the event the final solicitation has not been released by 3 May 2017, the preproposal conference will still be held using the most updated draft solicitation posoted on FBO.
