Request for Clarification
07/05/17
On Page 10 of the newly released Q/A dated 06/28/17, the question was asked, “For each MTF, will auditors or compliance managers have administrative rights to CCE so they can pull the records?” The
Government responded, “No, due to overloading the system.”
Seeking Clarification on the above Government Response: Will auditors / compliance managers be granted standard access to CCE (not administrative) so that they can perform the necessary quality control audits for coding accuracy? If not, can the Government explain how the Contractor’s auditors / compliance managers will access charts for QC?
Clarification Response: Yes, the contractor’s internal coding compliance team (e.g., Project
Manager/Project Leader, Coding Compliance Manager, Coding Auditor, Coding Team Lead/Project
Leader, etc.) will be given access to Coding Compliance Editor (CCE) at each MTF in the performance of necessary quality control audits for coding accuracy.
