About this opportunity
This solicitation seeks proposals for an Infrastructure as a Managed Service to replace the Veterans Affairs' existing VistA Imaging architecture. The Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center is soliciting offers to provide approximately 74,000 terabytes of monthly managed storage and related infrastructure services across 156 VA medical facilities. Offerors must propose solutions that consolidate medical imaging onto a single on-premises storage platform with cloud-based disaster recovery capabilities. Proposals are due February 25, 2021 and will be evaluated based on technical approach and price.
There is no set-aside designation. The primary NAICS code is 541513 and PSC code D316. The incumbent contractor provides similar services under the current contract. Offerors must fully deploy the solution, including 11 petabytes of on-premises storage, within 7 months of award. The contract will have a one-year base period and four one-year options, with pricing based on monthly fees for storage and compute infrastructure. Performance will take place at VA medical centers across the United States.
