About this file

This document outlines storage modeling requirements and performance metrics for the Infrastructure as a Managed Service opportunity with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Key details include specifications for file, block, object, and backup storage across high performance, mixed, and high capacity tiers. Requirements address protocols, snapshot capabilities, data tiering, throughput in Mbps and IOPS per terabyte. Management and integration services are also defined. The related solicitation seeks these infrastructure services on a managed service basis, with vendor questions due by January 25, 2021 and attachments providing additional RFP details.
