About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Special Operations Command at Cannon Air Force Base is procuring fire protection and conduit installation services for Building 71, where the Continuous Improvement and Innovation (CI2) Office is relocating their office and additive manufacturing capabilities. The solicitation requires specific Monaco-brand fire alarm system components including an Analog Addressable+ Fire Alarm Control Panel with integrated radio transceiver, antenna assemblies, wall-mounted speakers, smoke detectors, pull stations, and various monitoring modules, along with associated cabling and conduit installation. Vendors must provide complete system installation, training, instruction manuals, and comply with multiple military engineering standards including dafi32-1001 and ufc_3_600_01_2016_c5. The evaluation criteria focus on technical acceptability, past performance with no negative performance history allowed, and lowest price among responsive proposals. Critical dates include September 15, 2025 for questions and September 17, 2025 for quote submissions, both at 2:00 PM Mountain Time, with the solicitation issued under number FA485525Q0058.
This procurement is designated as a 100% Total Small Business set-aside under NAICS code 561621 with a size standard of $25 million, though Monaco Enterprises, Inc. has been identified as the preferred vendor due to being the original equipment manufacturer for existing fire safety systems at the base. The contract requires completion of all installation work within 30 calendar days of award for the 4,500 square foot Building 71 facility that currently lacks any fire alarm system. The work will be performed at Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, New Mexico, with FOB Destination delivery terms. Importantly, funds are not currently available for this procurement, and the government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation before or after the closing date, creating uncertainty around actual contract award timing and execution.
