70. We supply all the equipment for the fire alarms over at Hanscom Air Force Base and we have supplied them with the fire alarm and MNS combination devices in many buildings on the base but always on the wall. I have made many phone calls since receiving the drawings for the Primary School and I have come to the conclusion that they do not make a ceiling mount Fire alarm and MNS combination device. Our only option it appears is to make these devices a combination Fire alarm/MNS wall mount device or keep them on the ceiling but they will have to be 2 completely separate devices mounted side by side on the ceiling. Please advise how you would like us to proceed.
Response: Two adjacent devices on the ceiling are what is anticipated.
71. In Section 08 71 00 page 28 section 3.8.B it says to see the following pages for the Hardware Sets. Where can we find the Door Hardware schedule?

72. Please provide quantity of WT3 Blackout Shades. Dwg. I-002 indicates they are required at room 1Co1 but none are identified.

On the Finish Location Plan I-110, refer to Keynote 3 for the Commons which describes that these shades are to be located at each monitor above and for the Gymnasium it is identified on the plan which walls are to get them. The quantities would coincide with the reflected ceiling plans and elevations for the spaces identified to have this product. They should be sized for each opening.
