1. Prices must be submitted on all individual items of this Pricing Schedule. Failure to do so may cause the proposal to be determined "unacceptable".
2. If a modification to a price based on unit price is submitted which provides for a lump sum adjustment to the total estimated price, the applications of the lump sum adjustment to each unit price in the Pricing Schedule must be stated. If it is not stated, the offeror agrees that the lump sum adjustment shall be applied on a pro rata basis to every unit price in the Pricing Schedule.
3. The offeror shall distribute his indirect costs (overhead, profit, bond, etc.) over all the items in the Pricing Schedule. The Government will review all submitted Pricing Schedules for any unbalancing of the items. Any submitted Pricing Schedule determined to be unbalanced may cause the proposal to be determined "unacceptable".
4. The successful offeror grants the options listed in the Pricing Schedule to the Government. Option #1 may be exercised any time up to 720 calendar days after the contractor receives the Notice of Award. Option #2 may be exercised any time up to 720 calendar days after the contractor receives the Notice of Award. Option #3 may be exercised any time up to 720 calendar days after the contractor receives the Notice of Award. Exercise of an option occurs upon mailing of written notice to the Contractor. Exercise will be made by the Contracting Officer.
The price for exercise of the option includes all work and effort associated with the scope of that item. No additional time for contract completion will be allowed when an option is exercised. The given contract completion time was formulated to include time necessary to perform all option work.
5. The Offeror shall acknowledge that it understands the contract requirements for achieving a final minimum LEED Platinum certification rating and other Federal sustainability contract requirements. Line Item No. 0003 in the Pricing Schedule is intended to capture the cost of LEED Platinum Certification and construction phase documentation. The validation and final determination of LEED credits earned will be accomplished by the GBCI (USGBC). The contractor will be provided access to the already registered LEED project. Compiling of documentation at LEED Online and use of the LEED Letter Templates is required. LEED design phase documentation has been completed by the designer of record. All LEED construction documentation, submittals and final LEED certification fees will be by the contractor. LEED certification of the project by the Contractor is required. The Government may audit or validate the contractor's LEED documentation during project execution towards the requirement of LEED platinum certification and for consideration of performance requirements, progress payments and contract close out. This will not relieve the Contractor's responsibility to satisfy all LEED documentation requirements as defined by the GBCI (USGBC).
6. Option No. 1 is to provide and install all equipment/devices for the Interactive Television System as described in Section 27 41 16.00 50, paragraphs 2.1.9, 2.9, 2.10, 2.11, 2.12, 2.13, 2.14, 2.15, 2.16, and 2.17.
7. Option No. 2 is to purchase the equipment/devices associated with the video surveillance subsystem or Intrusion Detection Subsystem as described in Section 28 20 01.00 50, paragraphs 2.3, 2.4, 2.6, 2.9, 2.10, 2.11, 2.12, 2.13, 2.14, 2.15, 2.16, 2.16.1, 2.16.2, 2.16.3, 2.17, 2.17.1, 2.17.2, and 2.17.3.
8. Option No. 3 is to install the equipment/devices associated with the video surveillance subsystem or Intrusion Detection Subsystem as purchased in Line Item No. 0006 (Option No.2).
9. 52.217-5 EVALUATION OF OPTIONS (JUL 1990)
Except when it is determined in accordance with FAR 17.206(b) not to be in the Government's best interests, the Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. Evaluation of options will not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s).
