SUMMARY OF CHANGES
SECTION 00700 - CONTRACT CLAUSES
The following have been added by full text:
AMENDMENT 1
Amendment 001
RFI 001
Question: “advise as to what the specific requirements are to sufficiently demonstrate to the Government that a potential/interested MATOC contractor has the capability to respond to Project On-site Conferences under emergency conditions or 120 minutes? I have read sections SC4.2.1 and 4.2.1.4.1 and 4.2.1.5.1, etc. and cannot identify specific criteria listed in the aforementioned solicitation.”
Answer: Please ensure that a member of the team or a local company will be available to respond to the site within 120 minutes, to begin resolving emergency situations.
RFI 002
Question: “Exhibit E-1 at B.7 – suggest the % sign be removed after 100 since the calculation multiplied by 1 will not be changed.”
Answer: Agree that the % sign should be removed after 100 in the formula in Exhibit E-1 line B7. B.7 should read "Percent Self-performed Work = Line B.6/Line B.5 X 100 = ____________%" Exhibit E-1 has been updated.
RFI 003
Question: “00110-2.2.1 states six(6) general construction submittals for Exhibit A but Exhibit A states submission of five (5). Please clarify.”
Answer: Section 00110 Part 2.2.1 is the current change in effect and therefore Exhibit A Part 1 should be corrected to read "Prepare six (6) Part 1 forms for general construction, and two (2) for design build, if requesting consideration for this option." Exhibit A has been updated.
RFI 004
Question: “Could you please verify that the work to be done to the data rack in Room 105 is just a removal and reinstall and that there are no new or additional components that will need to be installed?”
Answer: Affirmative, remove and reinstall existing components; coordinate with the contracting officer before removing; components damaged by Contractor will be replaced at no additional cost to the Government.
RFI 006
Question: “There is fiber optic cable being used on this project between the data jacks and the data rack. The specification is not clear as to the exact type of fiber required. Could this clarify?”
Answer: Do not install fiber optic cable at this time; this will be installed as part of a future contract.
