Amendment 005
RFI 020
Question: Since we are suppose to match wall and roof panels, please provide information on the existing.
Answer: Existing roof panels are Kynar CXP type, 24 gage with floating clips and thermal blocks; wall panels are Kynar MAP type, 24 gage.
RFI 021
Question: Since we are suppose to match existing profile of the sectional door, please provide information on the existing.
Answer: See attached material submittal from original construction, "P-9 Existing OH Door".
RFI 045b
Question: Does the Architect of Record have to be licensed in the State of Maine?
Answer: No requirement, however it will be seen as beneficial
RFI 048
Question: Proposal Inquiry: Drawing CU 101 references propane service notes. Is the contractor responsible for the cost for notes 1 and 3and the owner responsible for the cost for note 2?
Answer: Yes
RFI 050a
Question: What is the project duration for the SEED Project - Building 9 Alterations?
Answer: See Exhibit E "Prototypical Project Notice of Proposed Project, Proposal Form" PERFORMANCE PERIOD: 180 Days, after receipt of Notice to Proceed.

Question: Is there a government estimate for the project dollar value of the SEED Project - Building 9 Alterations?
Answer: See Exhibit E "Prototypical Project Notice of Proposed Project, Proposal Form" MAGNITUDE OF PROJECT: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000.

Question: Overhead Coiling Doors-specs mention fusible links at 1.4 C2, but that is typical of fire doors. The spec doesn’t mention that these are fire doors. Please confirm
Answer: Coiling doors are not rated. No fusible link required.
RFI 051b
Question: Should the overhead Coiling Doors be insulated? The sectional doors are and are in the same building. Please confirm.
Answer: Insulation not required.
RFI 051c
Question: Both Manual Operation and Electrical are mentioned. It appears they are to manual, please confirm.
Answer: New coiling doors are manual operation; new sectional door is electric.
