Mr. Antoine Jackson Project Manager - USACE New Orleans District
RE: USACE Tracking #: 249022 31802 Burnell Road, Gueydan, La 70542 Vermilion Parish
Mr. Jackson:
ECM Consultants conducted a site assessment of the above referenced home-site on October 31, 2019. The following is our analysis of the property.
31802 Burnell Road is a one-story brick-veneer/wood siding, wood framed structure with a metal roof. The foundation is concrete slab on grade. It is approximately 1,500 square feet. The front porch (see Photo 5), the under-roof carport (see Photos 6 & 7), and the covered rear patio (see Photos 8 & 12) will have to be elevated with the home, thus extending the columns in these areas. The concrete paving in these areas will need to be addressed.
Typical utility connections will need to be detached, then reattached after the elevation process.
After reviewing all the documentation, it appears the house framing is satisfactory for the elevation process.
Following this letter are the survey analysis documentation and the building assessment field documentation verifying the findings. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.
Very truly yours, N. Guy Williams Project Architect
