- Drawing 170TS-101 – Add the following Note: “Cameras noted on the drawings are for reference only to show locations for conduit and infrastructure installation. Cameras are not in contract.”

PROPOSER’S QUESTIONS AND GOVERNMENT REPLY

The following is FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY:

Reponses to RFIs #5, #6 and #16 from amendment #5 are hereby retracted and the following responses are provided:

1. RFI #5 Amd #0005 Drawing Reference: 150-H701 Please clarify if the current additional equipment that is integrated to the JACE controller needs new field controllers and controls? If yes, please provide a points list and sequence for existing equipment. RESPONSE: There is a separate BMS system for the equipment currently on JACE. Per note #2 on H-701 all of the existing and new equipment needs to be tied directly into the Metasys BMS and remove the JACE system entirely.

2. RFI #6 Amd #0005 - Drawing Reference: 150-H701 Please clarify if the existing equipment is apart and viewed from the Metasys BMS system currently? Or is there a separate BMS system that the JACE is tied to? RESPONSE: There is a separate BMS system for the equipment currently on JACE. Per note #2 on H-701 all of the existing and new equipment needs to be tied directly into the Metasys BMS and remove the JACE system entirely.

3. RFI #16 Amd #0005 - Please provide New Fire alarm install drawings or a basis to bid. RESPONSE:

Please Refer to 120FP series drawings and specifications for new fire alarm details and requirements.

SECTION 00 21 13 - INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS

Contractors are required to deliver Bids to:

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New York District, Contracting Division, Room 16-300, 26 Federal Plaza, New York, NY 10278-0090

The designated recipient of bids is Nicholas Emanuel (917)790-8069.

Bids are due no later than 15 June 2023 at 2:00 P.M.

Bid opening will happen on 15 June 2023 at 3:00 P.M. EST.

NOTE: If dropping bids off in person or by mail, please advise via email to Nicole.fauntleroy@usace.army.mil and nicholas.p.emanuel@usace.army.mil.

Contractors are encouraged to wear a mask on the main floor and are required to wear a mask on Floor 16. The government will not be responsible for submissions delivered to any location or to anyone other than those designated to receive proposals. Bidders are responsible for ensuring that bids are submitted so as to reach the designated receiver and designated location.

Bidders are responsible for allowing sufficient time for the bids to be received in accordance with the instructions provided. Contractors will not be allowed to physically be in the conference room during the bid opening. However, bidders are encouraged to call into the following teleconference line:

5. Bidders must check off box (d) in 52.204-8 Annual Representations and Certifications (DEC 2019) for being on SAM.gov.
