Questions and answers are issued to the Offerors "for information only" and do not revise the solicitation, plans or specifications.)

Question 1: As shown on drawings S‐101 to S‐105, this scope of work includes slab on grade replacement at all trenches required for subgrade plumbing and slab on grade spall repairs, where required. The slab replacement at all trenches is quantified (4,000 sq. feet), however the slab on grade spall repairs, where required is not quantified. Can you please clarify, if the 4,000 sq. feet quantity includes both the slab on grade replacement at all trenches and spalls or is it only for the slab on grade replacement at trenches. If later is the case, then please provide a quantity for slab on grade spall repairs, where required.

Answer 1: The cross‐hatch pattern is used to represent the unknown areas of removal and replacement required for completion of the scope for all disciplines. The estimated quantity of slab‐on‐grade removal and replacement for the purposes of bidding should be 5,000 square feet and include all structural repair requirements of detail 1/S‐301. The 5,000 square feet is inclusive of the trenching shown with a linear hatch pattern.
