FY 19 Road Survey and Design of Humphreys Drive Arlington National Cemetery
1.10 COORDINATION IN WORK AREAS
1.10.1 Regular Working Hours
ANC Visitor Hours are 08:00 A.M. - 07:00 P.M. (April-September) and 08:00 A.M. - 05:00 P.M. (October-March); seven (7) Days a Week. Funeral hours are 9AM-4PM daily. Contractor is permitted to work (05:00 - 07:00 p.m., but as previously noted cannot disrupt normal cemetery operations.
Regular, daily, work period will be coordinated with COR.ANC Visitor Hours are 08:00 A.M. - 07:00 P.M. (April-September) and 08:00 A.M. - 05:00 P.M.
(October-March); seven (7) days a week. Funeral hours are 9AM-4PM daily.
Contractor is permitted to work eight hour days between 05:00 A.M. - 07:00 P.M., Monday - Friday. Work outside of, or extended hours within, this timeframe must be coordinated with the COR. As previously noted, Contractor work cannot disrupt normal cemetery operations.
Deliveries can be done at anytime as long as they do not interfere with cemetery operations. The contractor shall submit the delivery request 24 hours in advance to the contracting officer's representative for approval.
1.10.1.1 Jobsite Deliveries
All deliveries to the jobsite will be restricted to daytime working hours 08:00 A.M. - 07:00 P.M. (April-September) and 08:00 A.M. - 05:00 P.M.
(October-March), Monday through Friday, excluding Government holidays.
Large deliveries that could be deemed disruptive to cemetery operations must be coordinated through the C.O.R at least three working days prior to arrival on the jobsite. If there is doubt as to whether a delivery will be deemed disruptive upon arrival then coordinate with the C.O.R. prior to delivery. The government reserves the right to deny access, at no additional cost to the project, any delivery not properly coordinated upon arrival. With 24 hour written notification by the contractor, permission to deliver on weekends and/or holidays and/or after regular working hours may be granted. All such deliveries shall be pre-approved by the Contracting Officer - but are not guaranteed.
Any temporary storage space occupied by the contractor to complete deliveries must restored to its original state no later than 04:30 P.M.
the same day of the delivery.
1.10.2 Work Outside Regular Hours
Work outside regular working hours requires Contracting Officer approval.
Make application 15 calendar days prior to such work to allow arrangements to be made by the Government for inspecting the work in progress, giving the specific dates, hours, location, type of work to be performed, contract number and project title. Based on the justification provided, the Contracting Officer may approve work outside regular hours. During periods of darkness, the different parts of the work shall be lighted in a manner approved by the Contracting Officer. Schedule contract work such as utility cut overs after normal working hours or on Saturdays, Sundays, and Government holidays, unless directed otherwise.
Alternative work/delivery periods may be available upon written request by the contractor. Requests for additional work and/or regular extended hours shall require written approval from the Contracting Officer 7 days in advance of the proposed work period.
