Technical Exhibit 7A MCTP Exercise Information
1. The MCTP supports the collective training of Army units as directed by the Chief of Staff of the
Army (CSA) and scheduled by Forces Command (FORSCOM) at worldwide locations in order to train Leaders and provide commanders the opportunity to train on Mission Command in Unified
Land Operations.
(a) The annual training capacity of the program can accommodate up to:
1. 5 x Multi-Echelon, Multi-Component WFXs per Year
1-2 x Corps HQs
7-8 x Division HQs
Approximately 40 x F/MF BDE HQs
10 x Sustainment BDE/ESC HQs
2 x SOF HQs
2. 5 x ASCC Exercises per Year
Vibrant Response (Every Year)
Ulchi Freedom Guardian (Every Year)
Judicious Response (Every Other Year)
Saber Junction (Every Other Year)
Austere Challenge(Every Other Year)
Lucky Warrior (Every Other Year)
Talisman Sabre (Every Other Year)
Lion Focus (Every Other Year)
3. 6 x NG Brigade WFXs (BWFX) per Year, see TE-40 for BWFX lifecycle.
4. 1-2 x Out of Cycle Exercises
(b) There are 3 planning events per exercise (Initial event planning, mid-event planning/site survey, final-event planning, all are four days long), 1 x Four/Five day mission command training seminar per training audience.
(c) BWFX will have an IEP /FEP by DCS, (Defense Connect Service) and a MEP/SS at exercise location.
(d) All MCT’s are at FT Leavenworth KS. , unless the exercise is OCONUS.
