This Data Item Description prescribes requirements for contractor-prepared Sensitive Items Reports related to accountability and storage of sensitive government-furnished equipment and items used to support specific task authorization requests. The reports shall be submitted monthly and twice daily, containing at a minimum the nomenclature, serial numbers, and locations of sensitive items as well as names of personnel conducting the inventory. The Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Hood will award a contract to provide base and test support services on an intermittent basis, including preparation and maintenance of test sites; maintenance, dispatch, and operation of test support vehicles and generators; data entry and visualization tools; and operation of government-provided instrumentation.

To prescribe minimum requirements for contractor prepared Sensitive Items Reports.

This Data Item Description is applicable to all accountability and storage of all sensitive items provided as GFE to the contractor and/or equipment issued for use against specific Task Authorization Requests (TARs) requiring sensitive items.

The reports are subject to Government approval before being accepted as a deliverable.

The public reporting burden for this collection of information is estimated to average 110 hours per response, including the time for reviewing instructions, searching existing data sources, gathering and maintaining the data needed, and completing and reviewing the collection of information. Send comments regarding this burden estimate or any other aspect of this collection of information, including suggestions for reducing the burden, to Department of Defense, Washington Headquarters Services, Directorate for Information Operations and Reports (0704-0188), 1215 Jefferson Davis Highway, Suite 1204, Arlington, VA 22202-4302. Respondents should be aware that notwithstanding any other provision of law, no person shall be subject to any penalty for failing to comply with a collection of information if it does not display a currently valid OMB control number. 10.1 The contractor shall conduct a monthly inventory of items maintained in the Sensitive Items Storage Area or other secured areas. Inventory will be signed by a minimum of two people and shall be posted in the Sensitive Items Storage Area and other secured areas where sensitive items are secured.

Contractor format is acceptable but shall contain the following information as a minimum.

a. Nomenclature of item

b. Serial number of item

c. Names/Signatures of personnel conducting the inventory

d. Date of the inventory

10.2 The contractor shall maintain positive accountability and ensure storage IAW AR 190-51 for Sensitive Items deployed in support of specific TARs.

For the duration of each deployment, the contractor shall submit a Sensitive Items Report twice daily not later than 1000 hours and 1700 hours central time.

Contractor format is acceptable but shall contain the following information as a minimum.

a. TAR effort being supported

b. Location of TAR being supported

c. Date/Time of Report

d. Names/Signatures of personnel conducting the inventory (must be at least two).

e. Serial number inventory of all sensitive items

f. Physical location of sensitive items, for example, building/room number of storage facility or name of individual signed for the equipment at the time of the inventory.
