In accordance with direction from the Secretary of the Army, on 10/31/2025, the FSN team has been placed in an “exception” status and will begin working on the Flight School Next Program immediately.
STATUS OF SOLICITATION
Due to current furloughing of Federal Employees and U.S. Army Civilians, the FSN team has been sidelined from working since 10/01/2025. The previously established dates provided at SAM.gov in the DRAFT_C4S_FSN document will be revised to account for the furlough period and will be presented on SAM.gov as soon as possible.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
1. ACCELERATION OF PROCESSES
The FSN team will continue to plan for and is expecting to make award by 09/30/2026. This will require an acceleration of all phases of the presentation and demonstration processes as well as the evaluation phases. To accomplish this, the FSN team will be providing additional, non-traditional support to industry by way of continued QR code Q&A links, live pre-proposal conferencing support, and more.
2. PHASED EVALUATIONS UPDATES
The FSN team will provide updated milestones and direction for each of the phases of the evaluation process.
3. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
The FSN team will provide updated submission instructions and Q&A links for responsive communication.
4. UPDATED DOCUMENTS
The FSN team is working to provide Final DRAFT versions of all documents by 11/17/2025. These are in a state of “DRAFT” as the reviewers and approvers have been on furlough. The goal is to provide “FINAL” documents by the end of November.
