About this file

This document contains a hazardous materials management report template for a federal contractor. The template requires reporting of all hazardous materials used in production, operation, maintenance, and sustainment of the system, including whether they are embedded in the system or created by it. For each material, the contractor must provide specifications, safety data sheets, handling and disposal requirements, alternatives considered, and any requests for use of prohibited materials. The template includes examples for an adhesive, lubricating oil, cadmium plating, and lead-acid battery. Contractors must use this template to submit hazardous materials reports as required by their federal contracts.

This notice provides information on an upcoming solicitation for an Enhanced Heavy Equipment Transport System trailer. The Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal plans to issue a solicitation for a five-year requirements contract to acquire 466 EHETS trailers to be delivered from 2022 to 2027. The trailers will have a threshold payload capacity of 82 tons and be capable of meeting European road limits at 78.5 tons. The solicitation will use best value tradeoff source selection and evaluate proposals based on technical factors of payload capacity, maneuverability and payload safe transport, price, and small business participation. The period of performance is anticipated to be five years from 2022 to 2027.
