About this file

This is Addendum 01 to the Plans and Specifications for the New Security Forces Building project at the North Carolina Air National Guard 124th Fighter Wing in Charlotte, NC, dated July 1, 2026. The addendum supplements and amends the original contract documents and must be incorporated into all proposals.

The addendum includes revisions to four specifications and twenty-eight drawing revisions. Key specification changes add PVC as an acceptable pipe material for underground non-pressure plumbing (Specification 22 00 00), with additions to pad-mounted transformers (Specification 261219), automatic transfer switches and bypass/isolation systems (Specification 263623), and telecommunications outside plant (OSP) systems (Specification 33 82 00). Drawing revisions address demolition plans, utility plans, structural details, electrical site plans, power distribution plans, lighting plans, electrical one-line diagrams, panel schedules, and telecommunications routing. Notably, the revisions clarify electrical room configurations by relocating transformers, main service circuit breakers, meters, and automatic transfer switches; update lighting controls and occupancy sensor coverage; and extensively revise telecommunications infrastructure including new OSP ductbank routing, camera systems, access control, and public address system annotations. The document includes the complete text of Specification 22 00 00 PLUMBING, GENERAL PURPOSE, detailing materials standards, product requirements, installation procedures, and testing protocols for all plumbing systems, with references to applicable ASME, ASTM, and industry standards for pipe materials, fixtures, valves, and joint connections.
