About this file
This document includes a question and answer related to a solicitation for the load, assembly and packaging of 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm full range practice cartridges. The solicitation requires contractors to submit eight electronic compact disks for each proposal volume separately. The oral presentation slides constitute the technical volume. The United States Army Contracting Command New Jersey, on behalf of the Project Manager Combat Ammunition Systems, is seeking the load, assembly and packaging of 60mm M769, 81mm M879A1 and 120mm M931 full range practice cartridges. The plastic ogive and four function settings simulate service mortar rounds while utilizing a center vent tube and spotting charge ignition upon ground impact to provide audio and visual feedback without energetic fill. Cartridges are packed individually and in wooden boxes for fiber container packaging.
