About this file
Addendum No. 7 for the McGhee Tyson Airport Terminal Apron Expansion project, issued by CHA Consulting, Inc. on behalf of the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority, provides updates and additional documentation for the Runway 5R-23L Rehabilitation - Project 1. The addendum includes attachments such as boring logs, a Taxiway S Access Road Typical Section, and a Perimeter Road Staking Plan. The document modifies the previous contract documents, with the new items taking precedence over previously published materials. Bidders are advised that the attached information is for informational purposes only and may not be considered entirely accurate, and they are encouraged to conduct their own investigations, such as pavement core sampling, to determine the structural capacity of existing airport roads.
The addendum replaces the Bid Form Page B-4 dated February 9, 2025, with a revised version dated February 28, 2025. The document provides a template for bidders to acknowledge receipt of addenda, state their business address for formal notices, and provide information about their organization. The bid form includes various certifications and statements required for participation, such as non-segregated facilities, identification of principals, financial statements, experience records, and compliance with workplace and immigration regulations. The addendum emphasizes the bidder's responsibility to review and understand the provided materials and make independent assessments of the project requirements.
