About this file
The document is a Visitor Notification/Temporary Security Identification Badge form for the U.S. Army Garrison - Detroit Arsenal, governed by Army Regulation 190-13. The form provides detailed instructions for obtaining temporary security badges for visitors to the Detroit Arsenal installation, with specific requirements for domestic and foreign national visitors. The document outlines a comprehensive process for visit authorization, including advance notification timelines (4 business days for standard visits, 7 days for groups of 11-19, and 14 days for groups over 20), and mandatory coordination with the Visitor Control Center (VCC) and potentially the G-2 intelligence office for foreign nationals.
The form requires sponsors to provide comprehensive visitor information, including personal details, contact information, visit dates (in this instance, from 04/17/25 to 12/31/25), and necessary approvals. Key requirements include providing two points of contact, completing all visitor information fields, and acknowledging responsibility for the visitor's conduct and badge return. The document emphasizes security protocols, such as mandatory escorting of foreign national visitors, name checks through NCIC, and restrictions on badge access duration, which cannot exceed the sponsor's credentials expiration date. The form is marked as Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and is version 3.0, dated February 2024.
