About this file
This is a product specification sheet for KBC Networks Ltd.'s PowerBox (PWB) Series engineered power enclosures designed for pole-mounted security applications, unrelated to the Collier County Sheriff's Office Marco Substation Floating Dock procurement. The PWB Series consists of eleven models offering all-in-one solutions that convert high voltage AC power (100-240Vac) to low voltage Power over Ethernet (PoE), with configurations ranging from 2 to 8 PoE ports. All units feature UL/ULC-listed NEMA 4X rated enclosures, industrial-grade hardened switches, and can be mounted on poles or walls. Models support IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and some support 802.3bt HPoE standards, with power budgets ranging from 60W to 300W and output voltages of 24Vdc, 48Vdc, or 54Vdc. Units operate in extreme temperature environments from -30°C to +70°C and include optional fiber connectivity via SFP ports. Enclosure dimensions vary between 10x8x4 inches and 10x8x6 inches depending on model type.
The PWB Series kits are designed as plug-and-play solutions for remote camera deployments, wireless bridges, and access control applications requiring PoE power distribution. Products are available for immediate sourcing through KBC Networks with specifications subject to change without notice. The manufacturer provides no liability for power fluctuations or related issues and makes no warranty regarding product conformance to descriptions. Specifications include power consumption data at both 120Vac and 240Vac input levels, with maximum current draws ranging from 0.14A to 1.44A depending on model and voltage. All models feature Gigabit Ethernet ports with 10/100/1000 Mbps auto-sensing capability and full/half-duplex support. Select models include managed network capabilities via web GUI interface, with fiber SFP modules sold separately.

PowerBox Enclosures Engineered Power Enclosures for Pole
Mounted Security
Product Description
If your company is installing remote exterior security devices such as IP cameras, intercoms, or access control panels on poles, the enclosures, power supplies and hardened switches are likely sourced from various vendors. The PWB series PoE kits are designed as “one source” all-in-one solutions as easy add-on sales for deployment. The PWB series is ideal for remote camera applications requiring wireless point-to-point or multipoint bridge kits that power via PoE. Some variations also feature SFP ports for fiber connections. The PWB kits convert high voltage (100Vac - 240Vac) constant power to low voltage PoE power and are designed to make installation straightforward. If battery backup is preferred, please contact KBC for information on our UPS series.

Port and Power Features by Part Number
*Fiber SFPs sold separately; various options are available. Use Gigabit speed (1000-base) SFPs.
**All PoE ports can deliver HPoE, PoE+ or standard PoE as required.
***The 4 total uplink ports are combo ports meaning that when you use one type, the corresponding port is deactivated. In other words, if SFP port 1 is used, then copper LAN port 1 is no longer active. If SFP port 1 is used, SFP port 2 can be available as long as copper LAN port 2 is unused.
