About this file
This is a specification sheet for the PowerBox (PWB) Series engineered power enclosures manufactured by KBC Networks Ltd., submitted in relation to the Collier County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) Marco Substation Floating Dock construction project in Florida. The PWB Series consists of pole-mounted security enclosures designed for remote exterior security devices such as IP cameras, intercoms, and access control panels. The product line includes 11 different models with varying configurations, offering IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at PoE support, with select models featuring 802.3bt HPoE output. The enclosures are available with 2, 4, or 8 PoE ports, include integrated AC-to-DC power supplies converting 100Vac to 240Vac input, industrial-grade hardened PoE switches, and optional fiber connectivity via SFP ports. Models support output voltages of 24Vdc, 48Vdc, or 54Vdc with power budgets ranging from 60W to 300W. All units are UL/ULC listed with NEMA 4X rating and feature plug-and-play design for wall or pole mounting on 4" to 6" circular masts with optional Unistrut clamps.
The PWB Series enclosures operate across an industrial temperature range of -30°C to +70°C (-22°F to +158°F) for operation and -40°C to +80°C (-40°F to +176°F) for storage. The product line includes managed and unmanaged switch options, with managed models featuring web GUI access via LAN port. Standard features across all models include auto-sensing 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports with half and full duplex capability. Mechanical dimensions vary by model group, with smaller models measuring 10" x 8" x 4" and larger models measuring 10" x 8" x 6". Power consumption specifications are provided for both 120Vac and 240Vac inputs, ranging from 0.14A maximum at 240Vac for the PWB-S2-G1 model to 0.72A maximum at 240Vac for higher-capacity models. The specification sheet explicitly disclaims liability for power fluctuations or power-related issues and notes that product specifications are subject to change without notice.

PowerBox Enclosures Engineered Power Enclosures for Pole
Mounted Security
Product Description
If your company is installing remote exterior security devices such as IP cameras, intercoms, or access control panels on poles, the enclosures, power supplies and hardened switches are likely sourced from various vendors. The PWB series PoE kits are designed as “one source” all-in-one solutions as easy add-on sales for deployment. The PWB series is ideal for remote camera applications requiring wireless point-to-point or multipoint bridge kits that power via PoE. Some variations also feature SFP ports for fiber connections. The PWB kits convert high voltage (100Vac - 240Vac) constant power to low voltage PoE power and are designed to make installation straightforward. If battery backup is preferred, please contact KBC for information on our UPS series.

Port and Power Features by Part Number
*Fiber SFPs sold separately; various options are available. Use Gigabit speed (1000-base) SFPs.
**All PoE ports can deliver HPoE, PoE+ or standard PoE as required.
***The 4 total uplink ports are combo ports meaning that when you use one type, the corresponding port is deactivated. In other words, if SFP port 1 is used, then copper LAN port 1 is no longer active. If SFP port 1 is used, SFP port 2 can be available as long as copper LAN port 2 is unused.
