About this file

This document is a Q&A related to a Request for Response (RFR) issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) for a SaaS system/solution to implement touch-free parking revenue collection services in their parks. The RFR requests proposals for a fully developed, hosted, and maintained system that will provide services such as annual parking passes and pay station locations at 53 DCR parking facilities. The RFR states that a "2021 Parking Rev Collection Schedule" attachment will be provided, which will include the approximate space count for each paid parking facility. The Q&A clarifies that pay stations are located at a limited number of facilities, with hand collection used at non-pay station locations. The DCR is interested in obtaining bids to replace or supplement their current annual pass system provided through ReserveAmerica.

In terms of pricing and funding, the document does not provide specifics, but indicates the DCR is looking for qualified vendors to provide all revenue collection services. The current environment and any incumbent providers are not detailed. The overall objective is to implement a comprehensive touch-free parking revenue collection solution across the DCR's network of 53 paid parking facilities in Massachusetts.
