About this file
This document contains the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation's (DCR) answers to vendor questions regarding the DCR 841 Touch-free Parking in Parks and Revenue contract opportunity. The procurement seeks proposals for a Software as a Service (SaaS) system to provide revenue collection services, including the current annual pass system, across DCR's 53 parking facilities. The document clarifies details such as the availability of parking revenue collection schedule and facility information, pay station locations, authentication requirements, mobile payment options, and accessibility standards. It also addresses the proposal submission process, including the extension of the due date to April 5, 2021, and the requirements for cost estimates and proposals.
The document indicates that the DCR does not wish to change the current enforcement provider and that a bilingual option is not required for the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. Additionally, the document provides information on the approved merchant processors that can be used and states that the agency expects to own all data stored in the proposed solution, though this is still pending.
