About this file
This is a Solution Summary Template for the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Program. The template provides the required format and structure for small business applicants submitting proposals in response to ARPA-H's pre-solicitation announcement (Solicitation Number 7599226SN106). Submissions must be formatted in 11-point font with 0.5-inch margins on all sides and converted to PDF. The cover page is not included in the four-page maximum limit for the solution summary.
The solution summary must address technical merit and technical novelty by including: a project overview and technology description; the proposed technical solution with challenges and innovations; key activities and milestones; relevance to the specified topic; and for Direct-to-Phase II and Fast-Track applicants only, a feasibility statement (maximum one additional page) and a commercialization plan statement (maximum one additional page). The feasibility statement must provide scientific basis and evidence of project success, while the commercialization plan must describe commercialization strategy, target customers and markets, and anticipated transition challenges. Applicants must indicate whether they are applying for Phase I, Direct to Phase II, or Fast Track, and specify whether the application is for SBIR or STTR. The solicitation will open on SAM.gov on a date to be determined, with a closing date also to be announced.
