About this file
This is a supplemental questionnaire attachment for RFP S-10700-00015314 regarding pressure washing services for state-owned buildings in Oregon. The request for proposal covers cleaning services at multiple sites across the Salem and Portland areas, with mandatory pre-proposal in-person site visits required as a condition of proposal submission. The questionnaire requires proposers to demonstrate their technical expertise and procedures for cleaning specialized surfaces and locations while preserving material integrity. Specific sites identified include the Archives Building in the Salem area, which requires pressure washing of wood decking using lower PSI settings combined with soft wash techniques employing hot water and soft brushes, and the Portland Crime Lab, which necessitates cleaning concrete surfaces with artwork or top coatings using similar lower PSI pressure washing and soft wash methods. All pages of the supplemental questionnaire must be submitted with the bid submission, with responses numbered according to site designations.
The questionnaire emphasizes the critical importance of proper pressure settings and cleaning methodologies tailored to specific surface materials including concrete, asphalt, paver stones, cobblestones, and granite. Proposers must provide detailed explanations of their cleaning processes and pressure specifications for each specialized location to ensure damage prevention to artwork, coatings, and structural materials. No pricing information, set-asides, contract term details, or funding sources are specified in this supplemental questionnaire document.
