The questionnaire is designed to gather comprehensive information from potential dental plan providers for the city's group dental benefits. While completion is not mandatory, respondents are strongly encouraged to provide detailed answers, as incomplete responses may negatively impact the overall proposal evaluation score. The document seeks detailed information across eleven key areas: General Organization and Experience, Plan Design and Coverage, Claims and Adjudication, Reporting and Data Access, Eligibility and Administration, Implementation and Account Management, Networks and Access, Member Services, COBRA Administration and Compliance, Pricing and Discounts, and Performance Guarantees.
The questionnaire requires potential providers to offer in-depth responses about their dental plan offerings, including both Dental Health Maintenance Organization (DHMO) and Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plans. Providers must detail their network access, provider discounts, claims processing capabilities, member services, technological innovations, implementation timelines, and performance guarantees. The City of Miami is seeking a comprehensive dental benefits solution that includes robust network coverage, efficient claims processing, multilingual support, mobile and web portal capabilities, and compliance with regulations like HIPAA and ADA. The document suggests the city is looking for a dental plan provider that can demonstrate extensive public sector experience, technological sophistication, and a commitment to high-quality member services.
