About this file

This is a Form Contract Addendum executed by the School Board of Polk County, Florida, establishing standard terms and conditions applicable to the District's procurement of goods and services. The addendum governs a competitive solicitation for armored car and secure courier services to transport deposits, negotiable instruments, confidential financial materials, and other authorized items between District locations and designated financial institutions in support of the District's finance and accounting operations. The solicitation seeks qualified, licensed, and insured firms to provide secure, reliable, efficient, and cost-effective armored transportation services on a districtwide basis. The specific contract number, vendor name, response dates, due dates, site visits, bidder conferences, award dates, and contract term details are not contained within this addendum document.

The addendum establishes that all payment obligations are subject to appropriation of sufficient public funds by the School Board and are governed by the Florida Local Government Prompt Payment Act. The Board retains sovereign immunity and limits its liability to the maximum amounts specified in Section 768.28(5) of the Florida Statutes, regardless of the theory of recovery. The addendum imposes compliance requirements including E-Verify registration for employment eligibility verification, certification that the vendor is not owned or controlled by designated Foreign Countries of Concern, public records compliance obligations, and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. All disputes arising from the agreement shall be governed by Florida law with exclusive venue in Polk County courts. Specific pricing, set-asides, incumbent status, and funding sources are not detailed in this addendum.
