About this file

This is a Background Screening Compliance Acknowledgment form required by the School Board of Polk County, Florida for an armored car and secure courier services contract. The document establishes that contractors and all assigned personnel, including employees, agents, subcontractors, and representatives working at District locations, must successfully complete background screenings and comply with all applicable federal, state, and District security procedures. The acknowledgment specifically references compliance with Section 1012.465, Florida Statutes, and the Jessica Lunsford Act, which are key statutory requirements governing background screening in Florida's educational institutions.

The form requires an authorized representative of the contracting company to sign and date the acknowledgment, certifying their understanding and agreement to meet all screening requirements. The District reserves the right to enforce compliance through personnel removal, service suspension, contract termination, and other available remedies for failure to meet background screening obligations. This document serves as a prerequisite compliance measure to ensure that all personnel involved in transporting deposits, negotiable instruments, confidential financial materials, and other authorized items between District locations and financial institutions meet established security and background standards.
