Analyzes and performs wiring and assembly operations on all projects including research and development, utilizing instructions from complex drawings, schematics, rough sketches, and/or verbal instructions, using a thorough knowledge of electronic components and polymerics. Works closely with manufacturing engineering to identify and solve problems regarding electronic circuitry. Responsible for assembling, modifying, reworking, and repairing breadboards, non-flight and flight multi-layer circuit boards, backplanes, electrical assemblies and complex wire harnesses. Perform simple testing of circuit boards (e.g. In-Circuit, Go/No Go, VCC to Ground, etc). T rained or certified in the operation and maintenance of equipment utilized within the manufacturing processes including but not limited to, SMT
Pick and Place, Screen Printing, Reflow Ovens, Rework Stations, Wave Solder, etc).
