Description: Pre-Acquisition Planning Industry Engagement Event for Maritime Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) Systems In-Service Engineering and Technical Support Services (N65236-17-R-0008)

1. SPAWAR Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic will hold an Industry engagement for Maritime Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) Systems In-Service Engineering and Technical Support Services, solicitation N65236-17-R-0008. The Industry engagement will be held on June 5th, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with optional one-on-one sessions to follow at:

DoubleTree by Hilton Norfolk 1500 N. Military Hwy.

2. The purpose of this Industry engagement is to 1) improve the understanding of the Government’s anticipated contract strategy; 2) Improve the understanding of the Government’s technical requirements; and 3) provide an opportunity to ask questions regarding the Government’s requirement.

3. SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic released an draft PWS for this effort on 16 November 2017 through the SPAWAR E-Commerce website (https://e-commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil/). A revised draft PWS will be made available for review no later than 25 May 2018. The projected timeframe for RFP release is 4th Quarter FY18.

4. Interested parties should carefully read the draft PWS and other associated documents for this effort prior to attending the Industry engagement. This information forms the baseline for Industry engagement discussions.

5. Attendee Limitation: Due to limited seating and parking, interested parties will be limited to three (3) Industry engagement attendees per company.

6. The Industry engagement will include presentations from SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic technical and contracting personnel. There will be a general question and answer session during the Industry engagement as well as optional one-on-on sessions for interested parties. All questions and answers submitted before, during, and after the Industry engagement will be recorded and posted to SPAWAR E-Commerce under solicitation N65236-17-R-0008. Additionally, all presentation material will be made available to prospective offerors via SPAWAR E-Commerce. Prospective offerors are encouraged to subscribe to solicitation N65236-17-R-0008 on SPAWAR E-Commerce.

7. If you wish to participate in the Industry engagement, please register no later than 12:00 p.m. on 31 May 2018 using the following link: https://einvitations.afit.edu/inv/anim.cfm?i=398493&k=01684A0D7254. In your response, also indicate if your company would like to participate in individual one-on-one discussions with the Government. An assigned time for a one-on-one session will be sent to you prior to the day of the event. Each one-on-one session is limited to a maximum of 15 minutes.

8. Participation in the Industry engagement and optional one-on-one sessions is NOT a requirement and in no way prohibits any company from submitting a proposal in response to any forthcoming solicitation. The Industry engagement will only address information related to solicitation N65236-17-R-0008. Further, prospective offerors are not required to participate in the Industry engagement in order to obtain event presentation materials.
