About this file
This document provides questions and answers regarding solicitation number N6274222R1319. The solicitation is for the construction of a new veterinary treatment facility at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii. The facility will provide full preventative, diagnostic, surgical and dental care services to government-owned animals as well as preventative and diagnostic services to privately-owned animals of service members. The work includes building the new facility. An issued question asked if the requirement for an AISC certified erector could be removed, as there are only two in the state of Hawaii, which would limit bidding. The answer provided will remove this requirement via an amendment to allow steel to be fabricated in an AISC certified shop and erected by a licensed steel erector, opening bidding to more contractors.
