NOTE: The following questions and answers are provided for INFORMATION ONLY. The RFP remains unchanged unless it is amended in writing on a Standard Form 30.
49. ID-601, RCP Sheet A-114 Rm 1C02 shows drywall ceiling which does not correlate with the room finish schedule sheet ID-601 which calls for AT-2 Acoustical Ceiling. Sheet ID-601 calls for AT-2 ceiling at room 1C14B, but sheet A-114 shows rooms 1C14, 1C14A, and 1C14B as drywall ceiling. Please Clarify.
ANSWER: See responses to Items #26 and #37.
50. D1/A-439 & M-403 - Equipment number UT027 Downdraft Workstation requires a “10/10 DN transition to table” as noted on sheet M-403. The mechanical plans indicate this to be external of the wall, but the architectural drawings do not indicate the ductwork. Is the ductwork required to be stainless steel, galvanized with a stainless cover or galvanized painted and exposed?
ANSWER: Fabricate Necropsy room ductwork from stainless steel. Provide stainless steel ductwork down to downdraft table. Refer to Section 23 35 19.00 20, para. 2.7.
51. A-111 - Composite gyp bd lid plan A-111 indicates 1 hour rated and STC rated ceilings.
Enlarged RCP plan A-112 – A115 do not correspond with the composite plan. For example, Room CONF 1A09 on drawing A-112 shows 2’-0” x 2’-0” ACT, and the composite plan A-111 shows STC 50 sound rated gypsum ceiling. Please advise which to follow.

ANSWER: See response to Item #25. In ID-603, the key (AT1 and AT2) is the ceiling material and finish combined. T1 is for Standard Finish and T2 is for Waterproof Finish.
54. A-111 - Composite Gypsum board lid plan shows gypsum board on most rooms, however RCP ceiling shows some of the rooms with ACT tile too. Please clarify the intent of the design is to have hard ceilings at Top of CMU and finished ceiling at room finished schedule states.
