ANSWER: Provide as indicated. UFC 4-510-01 para. 11-5.10 Receptacle Identification requires marking of device plates with steel stamped or silk-screened letters, by laminated plastic nameplates with contrasting color center core, or by embossed aluminum or stainless steel tape.

31. SPEC 10 11 00 / Drawing Number E-601 - Project documents included specification 10 11 00 for Visual Display Board. Equipment schedule on sheet E-601 lists JSN items F3025, F3050, and F3065 as owner furnished, owner installed. Please confirm that GC will not be responsible for furnishing and installing visual display boards.

ANSWER: JSN’s F3025, F3050 and F3065 are Logistical Category (LOGCAT) “C” (Owner furnished and installed) per Sheet Q-601. The Government intends to delete Section 10 11 00 VISUAL DISPLAY UNITS via future Amendment.

32. SPEC 10 99 00 / Drawing Number E-601 - Project documents included specification 10 99 00 for Miscellaneous Specialties. Equipment schedule on sheet E-601 lists JSN items A5210, A5210P, and A5220 as owner furnished, owner installed. Please confirm that GC will not be responsible for furnishing and installing television brackets.

ANSWER: JSN’s A5210, A5210P, and A5220 are Logistical Category (LOGCAT) “C” (Owner furnished and installed) per Sheet Q-601. The Government intends to delete Section 10 99 00 MISCELLANEOUS SPECIALTIES via future Amendment.

38. SPEC 05 40 00 / Drawing Number S-501 / Paragraph Reference 2. 1. e - Specification Section 05 40 00 Item 2.1.e Pre Engineered Roof Trusses calls for standard C-Shaped Section or Proprietary Section. Sheet S501 calls for 8” Depth Top Chord and 6” Depth Bottom Chord.

Please confirm it is acceptable for a propriety system to deviate from the chord sizes listed on Sheet S501.

ANSWER: Propriety system shapes with depths that deviate from sheet S501 will be considered, provided that submitted calculations required by Section 05 40 00 validate that the proprietary shapes have sufficient strength capacities which meet or exceed requirements per design criteria and structural loading.

43. Water Line A, W1/CU101 & A1/CU103: Please confirm that WL A is 6” pipe with 8” x 6” tapping tee and 6” tapping valve to the new FH, not 8” pipe with 8” tapping valve.

ANSWER: WL A is 8” pipe with 8”x8” tapping tee and 8” gate valve. 8” pipe reduces to a 6” pipe at the vertical bend to the hydrant. Refer to typical fire hydrant connection Detail C1/CU- 301.

44. Water Line B, W6 & W8/CU101 & A2/CU103: The plan calls out 8” GV at WL B, Sta 1+89.24, and calls out another 8” GV at WL B, Sta 2+41.61. Please clarify whether or not these two 8” GV is required. If these 2 ea of GV are required, then could we modify the 8” GV to 6” GV at WL B, Sta 2+41.61 and add one each of 8” x 6” Reducer before the 6” GV?

ANSWER: Two 8” gate valves are required. 8” water line to the fire hydrant shall reduce to a 6” pipe at the vertical bend to the hydrant. Refer to typical fire hydrant connection Detail C1/CU- 301.
