About this file
This document provides an amendment to a solicitation for construction services at Tinian International Airport in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
The amendment deletes and replaces language regarding a site visit to provide offerors an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the jobsite. Offerors must submit contact information to the Navy by September 1st in order to attend an escorted site visit on September 17th. The work for this project includes site development for Air Force access to the airport, including clearing, grading, paving, fencing, utility connections, demolition of WWII structures, construction of a water well, and munitions work. An option is included for construction of an aircraft parking apron and taxiways sized for 12 KC-135/KC-46A aircraft with hydrant piping and fuel pits. The Navy may exercise this option within 360 days of award.
