About this file
This is a solicitation for design-bid-build construction services for Military Construction project P447 Dry Dock 4 & Pier 3 Modernization at Naval Base Kitsap in Bremerton, Washington. The project constructs new electrical substations and alters dry dock and pier electrical distribution systems serving nuclear ship shore power and industrial power. It demolishes existing substations and encloses utility galleries to prevent flooding. The North American Industry Classification Standard is 237130 and the annual size standard is $39.5 million. The procurement uses full and open competition under FAR Part 15 with the lowest-priced technically acceptable source selection process. The estimated contract value is between $25-100 million. Offerors must submit subcontracting plans prior to award. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command is the agency seeking these construction services at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard location.

This appendix contains a listing as of July 1996 of data generated by laboratory analysis of field collected samples taken during the site inspection and OU B remedial investigations. The data are presented in two groups (see table of contents, page M-xiii): Group 1, U.S. Navy Samples, and Group 2, EPA Split Samples. Each group is subdivided into two parts according to analytical method classes used. Data within each part are presented first by site, either Background Area (0) or Operable Unit B (OU B), and then by matrix and then by method class.
The column heading information presents the geographic location identifiers and sample characteristics for each sample analysis result. All results are displayed by alphabetized parameter names. The sort order for the data summary is as follows:
• Method
• Location ID
• Sample Depth
• Sample Date
• Sample Type
• Analysis Type
The accompanying legend (page M-iv) provides definitions for each of the codes used in the following data categories:
• Analysis Type
• Analytical Method
• Data Qualifier
• Gradient Relationship
• Installation Identification
• Location Type
• Matrix Type
• Method Class
• Sample Type
• Sampling Company/Laboratory
• Stratum
• Tissue Type
• Units of Measure
