About this file

This document is an Amendment of Solicitation (Standard Form 30) for the Repair BEQ M445 project at Camp Lejeune, issued by NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic. Amendment No. 0007 was released on 07/07/25 for Solicitation N40085-25-R-2687, with the proposal receipt deadline remaining 1400 on 9 July 2025. The amendment includes technical clarifications regarding hardware specifications, specifically addressing questions about lock types, finishes, and closers. Key clarifications include: confirmation that 626 finish is acceptable for RFID and cylindrical locks, requirement for stainless steel front and strike, approval of lever locks instead of knob locks, and a directive for vendors to provide proposals per existing documentation. The amendment emphasizes that failure to acknowledge the document may result in proposal rejection, and all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

CONTINUATION SHEET

1. QUESTION: The spec calls for marine grade locks at the exterior. There is not a marine grade RFID lock, plus in the hardware sets the finish for the RFID locks is 626, not 630. Please confirm the lock you sent in the previous amendment is what you are looking for.

ANSWER: 626 is correct.

2. QUESTION: The rest of the locks are cylindrical locks, which are not available in 630.

Please confirm a cylindrical lock in 626 will work.

ANSWER: 626 is acceptable but front and strike need to be stainless steel.

3. QUESTION: We are not familiar with a knob lock that accepts and interchangeable core.

Please confirm levers are acceptable.

ANSWER: Levers are acceptable.

4. QUESTION: Please provide a model number for the trach arm closer and regular arm closer you are looking for in 630. I am not sure there is one.

ANSWER: Provide proposal per documents.

5. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
