About this file
This document provides an amendment to a draft request for proposal for global sustainment of anti-terrorism force protection systems and assets worldwide. The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center intends to issue a single-award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract with a base ordering period of sixty months, optional ordering period of thirty-six months, and potential extension of six months. The estimated maximum value is $600 million over eight years. A large initial task order would provide sustainment for existing systems and assets across 955 sites, with a base year and seven option years plus potential extension. Separate task orders could be issued for technology refreshment, upgrades, repairs from damage, and engineering changes. Potential offerors are advised the acquisition strategy requires approval and the RFP has not completed review. The amendment provides responses to questions about pricing categories and subcontracting targets. Interested parties were requested to provide any other feedback by March 31 to improve the RFP quality and clarity.
