About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for repair and overhaul services aboard the USNS WILLIAM MCLEAN. Amendment 0005 provides clarification to Work Item 505 regarding the replacement of non-lube oil and fuel oil flexible hoses on various air, water, and auxiliary systems aboard the vessel. It distinguishes Work Item 505, which covers such flexible hoses and connections per the specification, from Work Item 552, which covers flexible hoses on the lube oil and fuel oil side of the main and emergency diesel engines. The related federal contract opportunity is for solicitation N3220521R4014 for repair, overhaul, and drydocking services for the USNS WILLIAM MCLEAN, to be awarded by the Department of the Navy's Military Sealift Command for the East and Gulf Coasts.
